Where are we in the End of the Age Timetable?

Jesus scolded the religious leaders of His day for not knowing the “signs of the times” in which they were living:

“Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?” (Luke 12:56)

Because of their failing in this matter, they missed the foretold coming of their own Messiah. I believe it is important, therefore, for God's people to keep a vigilant eye on current world events, so that they may see where things are going and be prepared for the future, both spiritually and practically.

Many of the Bible’s ancient prophetic messages have lain dormant for centuries without any fulfilment and without anyone really knowing or understanding what they were foretelling." Not until modern times has it been possible to match them with what is going on in the world. But to do so wisely and correctly is a difficult task. This website won’t promise to have all the answers, but I trust that it will offer some advancement in our understanding of how the sacred Scriptures apply to what is happening now and in the future.

At this stage in history, I believe that we are witnessing the process of deception, conditioning, and preparation needed for the rise of a One World Government and revealing of a Supreme Lord, the End Time Beast, the Antichrist.

1 Thessalonians 5:4-6 "But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore, let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober."

What does Paul say? You're not children of the night. You're not supposed to be sleepy and asleep when “that day” arrives. You're children of the day, children of Light! You're supposed to be wide awake, having the light to know what’s going on!

John 12:35-36 "Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is THE LIGHT with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have LIGHT, believe in the light, that ye may be the CHILDREN OF LIGHT."

We are not children of darkness, we are not in the dark about all these prophetic messages in the Sacred Book, not in the dark about the things that are going to happen! We won't be surprised when the Antichrist arises and reveals himself, when he proclaims a worldwide government and eventually the mark of the Beast. It won't take us by surprise. We don't have to be surprised, or mystified or in any way astonished! We're expecting it!

God's Word is specific and very clear! We may not know every detail, but we can learn enough from His Word that we can know the major events and their features, the main players in these events, and in some cases even know exactly when they're going to happen, because God has already said so in His Word! We don't have to worry, fear, or guess! --It's all there just as plain as can be! And, to UNDERSTAND what's going to occur IS to be PREPARED to face the future and take it as it comes, knowing God's in control and working out His plan for us all!
